TWO-STAGE COMPLEX PRETREATMENT PROCESS OF AGRICULTURAL BYPRODUCTS FOR PRODUCING BIOETHANOL UNDER HIGH TEMPERATURE AND HIGH PRESSURE

The present invention relates to a method of pretreating agricultural byproducts effectively, which is a prior step in a method for producing bioethanol. The object of the present invention is to increase the ratio of hydrolysis which converts cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin included in the agricultural byproducts to sugars such as glucose and xylose and establish the optimum treatment condition for increasing sugar yield. A pretreatment process of the present invention treats agricultural byproducts under high temperature and high pressure through a two-stage complex process.
