<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a divided core which has excellent motor characteristics particularly even in the case a stator is fixed by shrink fitting. <P>SOLUTION: The divided core for a motor is composed of an electromagnetic steel sheet having a composition containing, by mass, ≤0.03% C, 2 to 7% Si, 0.05 to 3.0% Mn and 0.001 to 0.020% Al, wherein the content of S is reduced to ≤50 ppm and the content of N is reduced to ≤50 ppm, respectively, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and the magnetic flux density B<SB>50</SB>(L) in the rolling direction when the intensity of a magnetic field is 5,000 A/m is ≥1.75T, and when the core loss in the rolling direction when frequency is 400 Hz and the maximum magnetic flux density is 1T is defined as W<SB>10</SB>/<SB>400</SB>(L) and the core loss in the direction vertical to the rolling direction when compressive stress of 50 MPa is applied to the direction vertical to the rolling direction is defined as W<SB>10/400</SB>(C-50 MPa), the total of both the core losses W<SB>10/400</SB>(L)+W<SB>10/400</SB>(C-50 MPa) satisfies the following formula (1), and the rolling direction of the electromagnetic steel sheet is a teeth direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
