<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify billing for a service provided by cooperation of an image forming apparatus and an external application. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus receives process information indicating a list of processes to be used in a process flow requested by the information processing apparatus; generates identification information for the process flow; registers the identification information to the billing management apparatus; executes a process in the list requested to the image forming apparatus; transmits billing information for the executed process to the billing management apparatus in association with the identification information; transfers data output as the result of the process to a service providing apparatus that is requested to perform a process contained in the list of processes. The billing management apparatus accepts registration of the identification information from the image forming apparatus, receives, from the image forming apparatus and the service providing apparatus, the billing information and identification information for the processes executed respectively by the apparatuses, and stores the billing information for each process in association with the identification information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
