<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellently designed stool device for a bathtub, which secures a sitting area and sitting strength in a sitting board, and is excellent in appearance and compactly stored not in use, while improving safety of bathing. <P>SOLUTION: In the stool device 6 for a bathtub, the sitting board 4 to be used by horizontal placement on the upper surface of a bathtub flange 2 adjacent to a washing place 3 is constituted by alternately connecting in parallel, hard sections 7 with rigidity in a crosspiece shape and soft sections 8 with flexibility to be freely bent. The device includes a sitting board storage part 9 for storing the sitting board 4 at a position close to the bathtub flange 2 without exposure inside a bathroom 5, so as to take a vertical attitude where the parallel connection direction D of the hard sections 7 and the soft sections 8 is made to be in parallel with the height direction E of a bathroom wall 10, and drawing-out the stored sitting board 4 in a direction in parallel with the parallel connection direction D. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
