<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a resolution conversion that is suitable for an image quality enhancing process in a display control device including a plurality of resolution conversion units whose performances are different from each other. <P>SOLUTION: A third resolution conversion unit 23 has a higher performance than a first resolution conversion unit 17 and a second resolution conversion unit 18 and the third resolution conversion unit 23 can obtain a resolution conversion result with high image quality. In this case, in case of one system display, the resolution conversion is not performed in the first and second resolution conversion units 17 and 18 and image quality of a video content to which the resolution conversion is performed by using the third resolution conversion unit 23 is enhanced by an image quality enhancing process unit 24. On the other hand, in case of two system display, the video contents to which the resolution conversion is performed by the first and second resolution conversion units 17 and 18 are combined into one system of combined video content by a combining unit 19 and in the third resolution conversion unit 23, the combined video content is outputted to the image quality enhancing process unit 24 without performing the resolution conversion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
