<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and an information processing method capable of switching functions more simply irrespective of a size of a touch panel. <P>SOLUTION: The information processor includes: a vibration information acquisition unit for acquiring vibration information relating to vibration caused by operating an operation body located on the touch panel, by use of a vibration sensor arranged in the vicinity of the touch panel; an operation body type identification unit for roughly classifying the operation body into two types on the basis of the acquired vibration information and identifying to which type the operation body that has operated the touch panel belongs; and an application control unit for controlling an operation of an application that provides a predetermined service according to the identified type of the operation body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
