<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air quality environment control system preventing deterioration of comfortability even after transient operation. <P>SOLUTION: The air quality environment control system includes: an air conditioner 15 having an air conditioning function to control temperature and humidity; an air cleaner 16 installed separately from the air conditioner 15 and having an air cleaning function to collect dust and fungi in the air; and a cooperative control circuit 17 for controlling an air quality environment in a room by making the air conditioner 15 and the air cleaner 16 cooperate with each other. The cooperative control circuit 17 automatically performs operation for generating an air current by making the air conditioner 15 and the air cleaner 16 cooperate with each other by setting operation of either of the air conditioning function or the air cleaning function, and performs control to automatically return to a predetermined state in a predetermined condition. Thus, since the two devices arranged in positions separate from each other cooperate with each other, the air quality environment in a wide space can be controlled. After air conditioning-priority operation is temporarily performed automatically and cooperatively, automatic return to the original state is performed.
