PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment determining that a current position is located indoors or outdoors, more accurately, and also to provide a determination method and a program. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment has: a temperature detection section 4 for detecting ambient temperature; a timepiece function section 2 for clocking or acquiring the date and time or time; an illuminance detection section 3 for detecting ambient illuminance; a storage section 6 including a database for relating at least one of illuminance and temperature, the date and time or time, and criteria for determining whether a current position is located indoors or outdoors; and a control section 5 for determining whether a current position is located indoors or outdoors by obtaining temperature, time, and illuminance from the temperature detection section 4, the time acquisition section 2, and the illuminance detection section 3 for comparing with the database.
