PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily send an image without requiring complicated preparation. SOLUTION: Image data and identification information read from a first reference image are received and stored in the state where the image data and the identification information are made corresponding to each other. When readout identification information corresponding to the identification information is received, the identification information corresponding to the readout identification information is specified, and image data stored in association with the identification information are read out and transmitted, wherein the readout identification information is described in a second reference image output together with the first reference image. Therefore, if the second reference image is delivered to a partner to whom an image is desired to send, the partner can receive image data by reading out the readout identification information and transmitting it to an image data transmission system.
