PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing a loop mark from being put on a portion sagged by pressing a sheet against a resist roller while skewing of the sheet is being corrected even when it takes much time to complete preparation for image data. SOLUTION: Before a sheet conveyed by a conveying roller 306 is pressed against the resist roller 233 in a stopping state to be sagged, a conveying roller driving motor 113 is controlled to stop driving of the conveying roller 306. Further, before driving of the resist roller 233 is started, the driving of the conveying roller 306 is resumed and an end of the sheet is pressed against the resist roller 233 in a stopping state to sag the sheet, thereby correcting skewing of the sheet. A resist roller driving motor 114 is controlled at a resist ON timing to drive the resist roller 233 and to deliver the sheet toward a transfer position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
