PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission for a hybrid vehicle restraining the length of the shaft length. SOLUTION: This automatic transmission 1 has a first driving gear shaft 51 for journaling driving gears G3a and G5a of respective gear trains G3 and G5 of an odd number in order of the gear ratio, a second driving gear shaft 52 for journaling driving gears G2a and G4a of respective gear trains G2 and G4 of an even number in order of the gear ratio, a first clutch C1 for releasably transmitting rotation of an input shaft 4 to the first driving gear shaft 51, a second clutch C2 for releasably transmitting the rotation of the input shaft 4 to the second driving gear shaft 52, and first and second two electric motors 31 and 32. The first electric motor 31 is arranged outside in the radial direction of the first clutch C1, and the second electric motor 32 is arranged outside in the radial direction of the second clutch C2.
