PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle device increasing a cooling region and promoting a cooling effect. SOLUTION: This spindle device is equipped with: a spindle unit 10; a housing 20 provided in a sleeve shape in the spindle unit 10; an outside cooling jacket 30 arranged between the spindle unit 10 and the housing 20; a motor 40 arranged between the spindle unit 10 and the outside cooling jacket 30; a front bearing 60; a rear bearing 70; and a thrust bearing 80. The outside cooling jacket 30 is equipped with an outside cooling passage unit 34 for cooling the front bearing 60, the rear bearing 70 and the thrust bearing 80. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
