The present invention relates to a war gaming set whereby the popular pastime of janggi is improved such that more entertaining war games can be played, wherein a janggi board is formed which is partitioned by thirteen respective horizontal lines (10) and vertical lines (20), and on which long diagonals (40) extend centred on palaces (30) and which shows palace outer boundary zones (50), a national border (60) and high ground (??, 70), and wherein each side respectively arrays forces consisting of infantry units (?), artillery units (?), mobile units (?), naval units (?), airforce units (?), special units (?), defence units (?), guards (?) and kings (?: one yin (?), one yang (?)), and, here, each force is constrained as to the way it moves by the high ground (70) and the palace outer boundary zones (50) or else is moved using the high ground (70) and the palace outer boundary zones (50), in conformity with the specific significance, and hence it possible to double the level of entertainment as compared with traditional janggi, and, in addition, it is possible to go beyond the flat ground-based battle configurations of traditional janggi and to deploy tactics in three dimensions on land, sea and air as befits modern military formations, and consequently more entertaining and exciting games can be enjoyed. |
