<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide biopsy forceps for an endoscope which is capable of quickly supplying a tissue sample sampled by tissue sampling pieces to pathology diagnosis. <P>SOLUTION: Between a pair of tissue sampling pieces 10, a tissue sampling space 20 passing through to a side part is formed regardless of the opened/closed state thereof. On the side wall near the distal end of a flexible sheath 1, a transparent window 4 is provided so as to face the tissue sampling space 20 formed between the pair of tissue sampling pieces 10 drawn into the inner side in the closed state, and the tissue sample 100 sampled inside the tissue sampling space 20 and drawn into the distal end of the flexible sheath 1 is observed from the outer side of the transparent window 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
