<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically photograph stereoscopic images of prescribed parallaxes, and to photograph stereoscopic images of optional parallaxes by selection of photographers. <P>SOLUTION: A live-view image is photographed by a left imaging system for through-display on a monitor, and a guidance indicating that a first image is photographed by the left imaging system and a second image is photographed by the right imaging system is displayed on the monitor (step S10). By pressing down a release button, the first image is photographed by the left imaging system (steps S11-S13). The live-view image is photographed by the right imaging system for semi-transparent display on the monitor along with an image photographed in step S13, and the guidance is displayed on the monitor (step S14).
