<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of an image forming apparatus, and to select and register a proper image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A unified application obtains: a printer driver which is an example of a device driver, managed by an operating system inside an information processing apparatus 100; and a printer object associated to a print port. The printer object is an example of a device object.
