PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash member installation device which securely stops the water between a joint ring and an existing fluid pipe, while smoothly moving the joint ring and facilitating the installation work. SOLUTION: The swash member installation device, which connects water-tightly the swash member 42 and the existing fluid pipe P by a moving split ring R externally fitted into the existing fluid pipe P and moving in the pipe axial direction, includes a cylindrical body 10 hermetically fastened to the outer peripheral surface of the existing fluid pipe P so as to be interposed between the moving split ring R and the existing fluid pipe P. The outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 10 is formed in the pipe axial direction in a circumferential shape corresponding to the inner peripheral surface of the moving split ring R.
