PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collecting device for collecting data for appropriately diagnosing various facility equipment of low-speed rotation, high-speed rotation, etc., and a diagnostic device for facility equipment which includes the data collecting device and is capable of performing failure diagnosis analysis with high reliability. SOLUTION: The data collecting device includes a data capture circuit 17 into which signals output from a plurality of sensors 5 are input and which captures data from each sensor 5, a sampling condition setting means 19 for setting data sampling conditions for the data capture circuit by receiving an instruction signal input from outside, and a data transmission means 23 for transmitting sampled data to the outside.
