PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any breakage of a cover body for protecting a power supply unit to an electric motor unit arranged within a hub of a front wheel. SOLUTION: A folding type power-assisted bicycle includes a front frame 1 having a front wheel 4, a rear frame 8 having a rear wheel 10, a link mechanism 13 for turnably connecting the front frame 1 and the rear frame 8 to each other in the service state and the folded state, a driving unit of a human power driving system for transmitting the stepping force by a pedal 19 to the rear wheel 10, and an electric driving unit of a motor driving system to be driven by the power of a battery 21. A cover body 22 in which an electric motor part of the electric driving unit is arranged in a hub 20 of the front wheel 4, and a power supply unit to the electric motor part from the battery 21 is protected is arranged in a space surrounded by the front frame 1 and the rear frame 8 of the front frame 1 in the folded state of the front frame 1 and the rear frame 8.
