METHOD FOR PRODUCING TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a toner having sufficient low temperature fixability and reducing image failure due to transfer void. SOLUTION: The method for producing toner includes steps of: preparing a dispersion liquid of polyester resin particles by emulsifying and dispersing a polyester resin obtained by condensation of a polyvalent carboxylic acid and a polyhydric alcohol; preparing a dispersion liquid of resin particles containing the polyester resin and a polymer obtained by adding a polymerizable monomer containing an acrylic acid or a methacrylic acid to the dispersion liquid of the polyester resin particles to induce radical polymerization; and forming toner particles by mixing the dispersion liquid of the resin particles with a dispersion liquid of colorant particles to aggregate the resin particles and the colorant particles.
