PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submersible disconnecting device enabling simple confirmation on board as to whether a measuring instrument moored at the bottom of the water is moored in upright or tilted position. SOLUTION: The submersible disconnecting device 1 is connected between a submersible measuring instrument 3 with a buoyancy body 2 attached thereto, and a weight 4, and is moored in the upright position at the bottom 50 of the water. The submersible disconnecting device is used for recovering the submersible measuring instrument 3 by surfacing the submersible measuring instrument by the buoyancy of the buoyancy body 2 generated by disconnecting the connection with the weight 4. On that occasion, the submersible disconnecting device includes: an echo sounder transducer; a tilt sensor to output a tilt sensing signal by detecting a tilt from the upright position; and a controller which is connected to the echo sounder transducer and the tilt sensor, and upon determining that a tilt confirmation signal is received by the echo sounder transducer, causes the echo sounder transducer to send a response signal based on the tilt sensing signal.
