PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilting table device in which positional accuracy for assembling is high and the installation work can be performed easily, and a method for constructing the tilting table device. SOLUTION: The tilting table device 1 is composed of a U-shaped jig base 10 which constitutes a tilting table and has a jig for supporting a workpiece, a tilting body 20 supporting one end of the U-shaped jig base 10 and tilting the U-shaped jig base 10, and a tail stock 30 tiltably supporting the other end of the U-shaped jig base 10.
