PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make leakage of unnecessary radiation hard by reducing the range of removal of a conductive shield on a front panel. SOLUTION: The inner surface of the front panel 51 of the endoscope controller is covered with the conductive shield 59. The front panel 51 includes first and second insertion holes 31 and 32. An electric connector 17 and a light guide connector 18 are inserted into the first and second insertion holes 31 and 32 respectively. The respective insertion holes 31 and 32 are composed of openings bored on the front panel 51 and annular projections 61A and 61B projecting rearward from the inner surface of the front panel 51 to constitute the rims of the openings.
