A bag of thermoplastic plastic foil with lateral weld seams has a border with an undulated edge (3) folded towards the inside or the outside and welded along the front and back sides of the opening of the bag. The trough (32) of the undulation is located in the central area of the bag (1), next to the bag opening (17), and the crests (31) of the undulation extends from both sides of the troughs towards the lateral edges (12, 13). A drawing string (4, 5) is placed in each of these folds and the superposed ends of the drawing strings, which lie flush with the lateral edges of the bag (1), closing them, are welded with the surrounding plastic foil of the sides and folds. In the central area of the opening of the bag, the drawing strings lie free, so that the bag can be drawn together towards its sides by means of the drawing strings. |
