Provided is a brake disc in which recesses facing a sensor for an ABS can be precisely and inexpensively formed while preventing an increase of the manufacturing cost and an increase of the weight. The brake disc has an annular brake disc plate (10) against which a brake pad of a brake device (3) is pressed, and a hub disc (20) arranged inside of the brake disc plate (10). Recesses (5) which can be faced by a sensor (6) of an antilock brake system are formed on the surface of the brake disc plate (10) or the hub disc (20) at constant intervals in the circumferential direction by mechanical machining.
