PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to enhance entire operating efficiency of a refrigerator by the efficiency increase of an evaporator and to uniformly guide the cold-air flow in a cold-air generating room. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a body, a cold-air generating room and a guide member(200'). A storage room is formed in the body. The cold-air generating room is formed on the upper part of the body and comprises a horizontally-arranged cold-air fan(176), an evaporator(170), a cold-air inlet(152) and a cold-air outlet. The guide member is arranged between the cold-air inlet and the evaporator and guides the cold air from the cold-air inlet so that the cold air is uniformly spread toward the evaporator. The guide member guides the flow of the cold air so that the cold air uniformly flows from the lower end to the upper end of the rear of the evaporator.
