METHOD FOR VAPORIZING AND MIXING REFORMING RAW MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of vaporizing and mixing a liquid hydrocarbon used as a reforming raw material and water vapor in a short time efficiently.

SOLUTION: The method for vaporizing and mixing a reforming raw material is characterized by including a process for making a mixture by supplying water vapor and a liquid hydrocarbon to the first flow passage part and the first flow passage part of a mixture flow passage which is located on the downstream side and equipped with a flow passage narrow part with a cross-section area smaller than the first flow passage part and bringing them into contact with each other, a process for flowing the mixture with a first linear velocity to the first flow passage part and a process for flowing the mixture with a second linear velocity to the flow passage narrow part, wherein the second linear velocity is 5 or more times the first linear velocity.
