<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise by devising the shape of the bottom of a pan. <P>SOLUTION: The bottom 2 of the pan has no irregularity, and has a shape having only two axes of symmetry a-a and b-b orthogonal to each other when viewing the bottom 2 from above. Accordingly, compared to the case when the bottom has a nearly circular shape having the same area, rigidity in the direction perpendicular to an installation surface in the center can be improved. Therefore, the characteristic frequency of the bottom is shifted to a higher frequency to avoid coincidence with 1/n times (n=1, 2, 3, ...) the frequency of the current flowing through a heating coil, and a stimulation frequency in the direction perpendicular to the installation surface in the vibration mode of the bottom is reduced. This suppresses the occurrence of a resonance phenomenon to make the noise of beep, clink, or the like less likely to occur. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
