<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact input device suppressing reduction in detection sensitivity, and to provide a display apparatus including the input device. <P>SOLUTION: The input device X includes: a base 2 having translucency; a plurality of detection electrodes 3a, 4a formed on the base 2 to detect an input position; and a plurality of wiring conductors 7 formed on the base 2 to apply voltage to the plurality of detection electrodes 3a, 4a. The adjacent wiring conductors 7 have different heights, at least.
