<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact charger which correctly detects the presence or absence of a secondary apparatus as an object to be charged. <P>SOLUTION: A primary apparatus has (i-2)th to (i+2)th power transmission parts individually corresponding to secondary apparatuses 2[i-2] to 2[i+2] each of which has a secondary coil and a secondary battery. The (i-2)th to (i+2)th power transmission parts have primary cores 12[i-2] to 12[i+2] each of which has a primary coil wound therearound, respectively. A control circuit detects the presence or absence of the secondary apparatus per transmission part on the basis of a current value input into a drive circuit of the primary coil when an AC excitation current is applied to the primary coil. In supplying an excitation current to the i-th power transmission part to detect the presence or absence of the secondary apparatus 2[i], the control circuit stops supply of the excitation current to the (i-1)th and (i+1)th power transmission parts adjacent to the i-th power transmission part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
