PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium processing apparatus of which maintenance can be easily performed and in which the recording quality and reading quality can be improved. SOLUTION: The medium processing apparatus 1 includes: a magnetic head 3, arranged so as to face a medium carrier 11 on which a passage ticket is carried; a rotation frame 84, capable of holding the magnetic head 3 and rotating so that the medium carrier 11 is opened; rotation support shafts 87, 88 for rotatably supporting the rotation frame 84 and acting as a fulcrum of rotation for the rotation frame 84; support frames 36, 37 in which the rotation support shafts 87, 88 are fixed; and a lock mechanism for suppressing unsteadiness of the rotation frame 84 against the support frames 36, 37 in an X direction, a Y direction and a rotational direction of the rotation frame 84. In the medium processing apparatus 1, a fixing position of the rotation support shaft 87 on the support frame 36 is fixed, and a fixing position of the rotation support shaft 88 on the support frame 37 is set adjustable.
