PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-irradiating device and a light-irradiating method which harden the adhesive layer of an adhesive sheet while saving electric power. SOLUTION: The light-irradiating device 1 includes the first to the ninth light-emitting units 42A-42I, which can form plural kinds of single-wavelength line light L which are different to each other, and selects the wavelengths of the plural kinds of line light L which are simultaneously radiated in accordance with the composition of an adhesive sheet S. By this, the light-radiating device selectively radiates only the line light L having a wavelength, on which the adhesive layer of the adhesive sheet S reacts, to harden the adhesive layer while saving electric power.
