PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable equipment in which sliding is assisted without incurring galling. SOLUTION: A cellular phone 1 of the present embodiment includes: a body 10; a movable body 20; a parallel link mechanism which includes a pair of link members 60a, 60b and connects the movable body 20 to the body 10 so as to make the movable body 20 slidable within a predetermined range; and a spring 50 for energizing the movable body 20 from a predetermined position within the sliding range to one end or another end of the sliding range.
