PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic comprising a biosurfactant so as to protect hair from physical and chemical stimulations and impart favorable feelings such as smoothness, moistness, flexibility inherent in healthy hair and ease of management to hair. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic comprises (A) the biosurfactant, (B) at least one oil selected from the group consisting of a hydrocarbon oil, an ester oil and animal and vegetable oils and (C) a surfactant. The hair cosmetic can protect hair from physical and chemical stimulations and imparting smoothness, moistness, flexibility inherent in healthy hair, ease of management, etc., to hair.
