PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support device which automatically starts the parking support function, when one's own vehicle enters a road side facility. SOLUTION: This parking support device includes the parking support function 103 for providing information for supporting operation to a driver when the vehicle parks, a vehicle periphery imaging device 200 for imaging the road surface of the vehicle periphery, the travel state recognizing function 102 for determining that the vehicle enters the road side facility based on information provided from the pickup image of the vehicle periphery imaging device 200, and the parking support switching function 101 for starting the parking support function 103 when determining that the one's sown vehicle enters the road side facility by the travel state recognizing function 102.
