PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear vibrator which prevents wearout of a component and shortening of the component's life to simplify processes. SOLUTION: The linear oscillator includes a case 111 demarcating an inner space, a vibrator 120 which is housed in the case 111 and vibrates vertically, a spring 112 which has an upper circumference end fitted to the upper face of the case 111 and a lower end fixed to the top of the vibrator 120 and elastically supports the vibrator 120, an annular fixing ring 113 having an outer diameter larger than that of the vibrator 120 and that of the spring 112 to push the upper circumference end of the spring 112 into the case 111 to fix it thereto, and a bracket 115 which supports the case 111 and the vibrator 120 and carries a circuit board on the top thereof.
