PURPOSE:To prevent superimposition of pictures when pictures of TV signals or video signals are recorded by taking images of two pictures recorded in a memory in a state where they are divided into two parts, an upper and lower parts, when a video printer is used as a frame memory after the two pictures are recorded by using a frame memory device as a field memory. CONSTITUTION:When different two pictures are respectively recorded in the odd field memory area and even field memory area of a memory section 2 by using a frame memory device as a field memory, picture data converted by an AD conversion section 1 are stored by using the address signal of an address converting unit 5. Simultaneously, a field recording signal is produced and an FF circuit 6a in a control circuit 6 is set. When the two pictures are monitored, a frame monitoring signal is produced from a printer and odd-field scanning lines are produced in the upper half of the screen of a monitoring device by using the output of an FF circuit 6b in the circuit 6. Even-field scanning lines are caused to be produced in the lower half of the screen. |
