PURPOSE:To enable the treatment of a large amt. of the material to be treated while cooling or heating the material to an adequate temp. by using two cylindrical bodies and continuously cooling or heating the material to be treated. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd cylindrical bodies 12, 13 which are cooled or heated at the respective outside peripheral faces and are rotatable are adjacently disposed. A 1st endless belt 19 formed of a material having good heat conductivity is wound around a part of the outside peripheral face of the 1st cylindrical body 12 and is wound around a part of the outside peripheral face of the 2nd cylindrical body 13 across the virtual line connecting the centers of the two cylindrical bodies. Further, the material 16 to be treated is supplied to the outside peripheral face of the 2nd cylindrical body 12 in a supply section 17. The 2nd endless belt 22 is extended in tight contact with the belt 19 over the winding range of the belt 19 wound around a part of the outside peripheral face of the cylindrical body 13. As a result, a large amt. of the material to be treated is treated while the material is cooled or heated to the adequate temp. |
