PURPOSE:To enable smooth and simple conveyance of a battery, by a method wherein, in a device having a battery conveying table horizontally coupled to the battery-loading part of a battery vehicle, a member to absorb the difference in a level of a battery movement passage is vertically rotatably mounted to the conveying table. CONSTITUTION:In an unmanned battery vehicle 1 run along a given track by means of the power of a batter B held by a battery-loading part 2, the battery- loading part 2 is formed such that a plurality of rollers 4 are spanned between a pair of guide rails 3 extending in parallel to the direction of the width of a vehicle, and a battery 5 is loaded on the rollers 4. A battery carrier C having a conveying table 10 is situated adjacently to the loading part 2, and an armform spanning member 7 serving as a difference-in-level absorbing means is mounted to the carrier C. The spanning member 7 is rotatably mounted at its mounting part 18 to the one end of the carrier C by means of a rotary shaft 21, and is resiliently supported by means of an energizing bar 22 and a lever 15. |
