PURPOSE: A direction indicator and a control method thereof are provided to reduce accident risk by guiding the driving direction of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A decoration body(1) is formed to enable a drive to easily recognize a direction. A mounting part(21) is installed inside a vehicle in a lower body(2). A first driving part(3) rotates the indication direction of the decoration body. Two wings(4) are movably connected to both sides of the decoration body. A second driving part(5) moves two wings and is built in the decoration body.
