PURPOSE:To process by-product of grains, etc., which are industrial waste products to various food base materials and feeds by inoculating Bacillus natto bacterium into a by-product of grains, etc., and controlling pH of the by-product to specific pH to keep low fermentation state and then adding an organic acid thereto to control the pH to a specific pH. CONSTITUTION:A natto bacterium (preferably Bacillus natto Sawamura) is inoculated into a by-product [preferably OKARA (bean curd refuse) or soybean bran] of grains, etc., and pH of the by-product is controlled to 7-8 to keep low fermentation state and then an organic acid is added thereto to control the pH to 6-7. Thus the by-product of grains, etc., is treated. |
