PURPOSE:To improve a completely accurate alignment and a fixing strength by forming a rotor fixing means for fixing a rotor rotating together with a rotation shaft of a member having a shape memory operation. CONSTITUTION:The major diameter of a rotor fixing means 1 before it is fixed is smaller than the minor diameter of a rotor 2 and the minor diameter of the rotor fixing means 1 is larger than the major diameter of a rotating shaft 3. When the rotor fixing means 1, therefore, is inserted into a ring shaped gap between the center hole of the rotor 2 and the major diameter of the rotating shaft 3, this operation can be readily carried out without requiring a strong force. When a heat treatment of determined temperature and time is applied, the rotor fixing means 1 made of a shape memory alloy has its shape changed, its major diameter enlarged and its minor diameter reduced. Thus, the rotor 2 and the rotating shaft 3 are fixed through the rotor fixing means 1. |
