PURPOSE: A method and a device for measuring a location and a distance using a camera are provided to produce 3D location information and distance information through a 2D coordinate of an object to be sensed. CONSTITUTION: An image processing unit(130) receives a capture image photographed by a camera module. The image processing unit extracts a target object from the capture image. The image processing unit extracts a specific point coordinate of the extracted target object. A location and distance calculating unit(140) calculates parameter values inside/outside a camera module and a 3D object location in a 2D camera coordinate through the coordinate of the target object. The location and distance calculating unit calculates distance information from location information of the object.
