PURPOSE: A selective application apparatus of an input gamma dithering for switching input gamma dithering into a disable state while changing the size of image data is provided to remove an undesired visual effect without desiring the display image by two processes. CONSTITUTION: An input gamma and dithering block(102) performs dithering with gamma correction of input data. A post-scaling block(106) performs the scaling of RGBW data. An SPR(Sub Pixel Rendering) block(108) performs the sub pixel rendering of the color gamut corrected RGBW data. An output gamma dithering block(110) compensates the gamma of a display device with the application of the other gamma correction about RGBW data.
