PURPOSE: A home appliance and a diagnostic system for a home appliance are provided to enable a user to easily confirm the production information of a home appliance. CONSTITUTION: A sound output unit comprises a control panel(116), a power supply unit(116a) and a sound output unit(301). The control panel is installed at a cabinet of the home appliance. The power supply unit is hidden at a rear portion of the control panel. The sound output unit is installed at a cabinet of the home appliance to be exposed to the external portion of the control panel. The sound output unit is connected to a wire on which current flows from the power supply unit.
