摘要

PURPOSE: A light emitting diode self-alignment package using a surface shape modulating light emitting diode and a receptacle is provided to reduce alignment errors generate while light emitting diode units are aligned on a receptacle by modulating the base surface part of the receptacle. CONSTITUTION: A receptacle(400) provides a space in which a gallium nitride-based light emitting diode unit(100) is aligned. The space is composed of a base(410) and a peripheral region. The surface part(110) of the nitride-based light emitting diode unit is formed into a modulated structure. The nitride-based light emitting diode unit, the surface of which is modulated, is aligned on the bottom side of the receptacle.
