APPARATUS FOR MEASUREMENT OF ANGULAR VELOCITY IN DISEASE PATIENTS AND ANALYSIS SYSTEM FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: An angular velocity measuring apparatus and an analysis system thereof are provided to quantitatively evaluate the movement handicap by calculating the RMS angular velocity and the RMS angle for the joint movement of a patient with Parkinson disease. CONSTITUTION: A gyro sensor(10) measures the movement of an object. The gyro sensor is attached to the body of a patient. A filtering unit(20) removes the DC component and the high frequency from the signal measured through the measuring unit. A controller(30) calculates the movement angular velocity or an angle for the movement of the object.
