PURPOSE: A cutter and a printer with the cutter are provided to completely cut a recording paper. CONSTITUTION: A cutter comprises a fixed balde(11), a first holder(12), a moving blade and an elastic pressure member. The fixed blade is formed in a plate form. One side of the fixed blade is the tip, and the other side is a source. The first holder makes the fixed blade far from a base so that the tip vertically fluctuates around the source. The moving blade is installed to be able to slide to the fixed blade. The moving blade gets on the fixed blade in sliding and cuts a recording paper while inserting it into a space between itself and the fixed blade. The elastic pressure member is fixed onto the base and elastically applies pressure in a direction of separating the fixed blade from the base. |
