<p>PURPOSE: A display device and a method for controlling the same are provided to update the setting value of a broadcasting receiving part. CONSTITUTION: A first broadcasting receiver(100) receives a broadcast signal. A second broadcasting receiver(110) receives a broadcast signal. A control unit(150) controls the first and the second broadcasting receivers so that the idle broadcasting receiver receives a broadcasting signal of a specific channel. The control unit changes the setting value of the broadcasting receiver by the quality of the received broadcast signal. A storage(140) updates the stored setting value, and stores the updated setting value.</p> |
