PURPOSE: An electric vehicle motor position, a creep control apparatus, and a control method thereof are provided to implement the stabilization of the motor position maintenance more rapidly by more applying the torque calculated corresponding to the ramp load to a motor torque. CONSTITUTION: A ramp decision unit(40) uses the detection information of a ramp sensor(50) detecting the angle of the ramp of a road when the brake is released, in order to determined whether the motor position control or the creep torque control is engaged. A motor position controller(20) maintains the position of the motor by calculating the motor torque to maintain the position of the motor.
